After helping shape the healthcare industry at a Fortune 10 company, I pivoted from prescription to portfolio. Today, I bring over a decade of building trusted, long-term partnerships to a select group of clients through my investment advisory firm.
Prem Patel is the Founder of GreenRock Advisory, an investment advisory firm part of the Charles Schwab Advisor Network. He is featured in national publications like Barron’s, Kiplinger, and MSN. Prem founded GreenRock in 2010 as an independent firm to deliver a trusted relationship—one he’d pick for himself, blending attentiveness and agility while removing pain points common across much of the industry. He is grateful for the insights and inspiration drawn from some of the best leaders and minds in the industry.
Prem is a registered investment advisor, acting as a fiduciary and FINRA Series 65 licensed. He earned his MBA from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, specializing in investments, finance, and economics. His avid study of market history has provided him with a deep understanding of financial markets and a broad perspective on optimizing personal finance strategies. Prem does not sell products for commission, ensuring that all advice is unbiased and focused solely on the best interests of his clients.
Prem’s humble beginnings as a pharmacist instilled a people-first mindset, where he took the time to truly understand and help others—a philosophy he carried throughout his career. He went on to build valuable corporate experience at CVS Health, driving strategic growth, mergers & acquisitions, product development, executive client relations, and better patient care outcomes. There, he helped drive the integration of CVS and Caremark and guided programs to support the patient experience.
Prem’s experience at the intersection of strategy and growth adds a unique dimension to his practice. He is passionate about helping people achieve their long-term financial goals through a variety of strategies. With over 30 years of experience in the investment world, Prem has navigated diverse market segments through various cycles.
Prem is also passionate about giving back to his community, both financially and through education. He actively supports local schools and community organizations and works to empower the next generation—whether through organizing financial kids’ camps or educating at local high schools.
